The Australian Bragg Centre is located within South Australia’s health and biomedical research precinct. It will contain Australia’s first proton therapy centre and the only one of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.

The proton therapy delivers precise, non-invasive radiotherapy that minimises damage to health tissues and vital organs whilst destroying cancer cells.

The project is under construction and scheduled to be completed by late 2023.
